Message: Jerry was my dentist from the time I grew baby teeth until he retired. As a UConn and Dodger fan, he never failed to "discuss" successes of Yale and the Yankees, always after he had installed a mouthful of dental stuff, so that all I could answer was "Ugh". It didn't occur to me until way later that he was distracting me from the discomforts of his dental care. He had an intimate knowledge of my family, and it always seemed like he was related somehow though I never figured out the connection. He was a consumate "mensch" as many have said, and he did a lot to make everyone he touched a mensch as well. Rest in peace.

Message: Jerry was my dentist on Albany Ave, above my father's tailor shop. He was a kind of a sweetheart for no one likes going to a Dentist. He became friends of ours and came to my father's funeral and my mother who has since passed, was comforted by his presence. He will be missed. Condolences to his family and those who were fortunate to meet him.

Message: Jerry and I became friends when I joined the Regents, and was Secretary when I was President. He was a great friend to everyone, always had a wonderful smile, and never failed to “educate” us as to how the Yankees were doing. He was a great person and I’m sure will be greatly missed.

Message: Our condolences to LIBBY and the family. He left smiles on the faces of those he came in touch with. We had some great times on the paddle courts, and laughs to remember. He left his mark, and so much for you all to be proud of. Ruth & Bert
