Message: Ebner was one the kindest men I ever knew - and had the sweetest smile for everyone. My family had the pleasure of knowing Ebner at the Emanuel and at Henley where he lived before moving to Summerwood. He always had a nice thing to say to everyone and often made us laugh. He was a wonderful friend to my parents - Harry and Sylvia Rosenfeld. May he rest in peace - he will be missed by many people. Linda Rosenfeld Stein

Message: I will never forget Ebner's pleasant, luminous presence wrapping tefillin with a smile during many a Sunday morning minyan that I attended growing up at Emanuel Synagogue. His translation of the Mishna - a gift many years ago - remains on my shelf. HIs memory will forever be a blessing for me, as I know it will be for so many. Alav Hashalom - may he be at peace now. - Cantor Michael Zoosman
