Message: My memories of Babs as I grew up were that she was constantly smiling, displaying a very kind disposition and I never heard an angry word leave her lips. Babs told magnificent stories about friends and relatives and spun them like screenplays. We were always mesmerized, listening to her discuss her latest adventure. She was a loving woman and my daughters still remember her bouncing them on her knee and teaching them children's songs. Babs, I always loved you and always will! Love, Jackie

Message: I have been a student of Bab's for oriental rug making for several years. Actually I started in the 80's and picked it up again 5 years ago and to my delight, it was Bab's teaching the class. She was such a wonderful, creative person with a fabulous sense of humor. Her kindness and smile will be forever missed. I am truly heartbroken knowing she is no longer with us but she will never be forgotten.

Message: Babs was not only a fun and efficient broadcast colleague, she was a favorite Apple Hill neighbor when we lived in Glastonbury. Our houses were nearly next door to each other, so we enjoyed seeing her all through those happy years. She and I would giggle while exchanging the few words of Yiddish that I knew; so, that probably explains why the proper words to say in saluting her are: l'chaim!

Message: Babs became a dear, dear friend during the time that she worked at Harc. We especially enjoyed getting together for dinner every couple of weeks to catch up on life in general. Her favorite topic of conversation was her wonderful granddaugher, Paige, who, along with her mom, Robyn, were truly the lights of Babs' life. She was an amazing, marvelous woman and I will certainly miss her.
