Message: As fellow singer and multiple term President of the Hartford Men in Harmony barbershop chorus (formerly Insurance City Chorus), Keith was appreciated for his voice, leadership, and sense of humor. I had the privilege of serving with him on the chorus Board of Directors over a number of years. He was dedicated and generous. His multiple ailments limited and ultimately ended his participation in our activities. A memory that will last a long time was when nine singers visited Keith and Ellie three weeks ago to sing for and, it turned out, WITH him! We sang so called Polecat songs - known by barbershop singers worldwide - most of them love songs. Keith was touched to the point of weeping, at one point pulling Ellie into a sweet embrace. Then, composing himself, he stood and sang with us, with remarkably strong voice. Little did we know we would lose him so soon thereafter. Rest in peace, good friend. You will be sorely missed by many. Harald

Message: Always a great time singing in a quartet with Kieth. I was honored to sing the national anthem with him at a local Bee’s game least year.

Message: Keith was a leader, mentor, and a friend to a young man finding his place in the wonderful singing organization known as the Hartford Men in Harmony. We didn't always agree on the administrative side of things, but there was a great deal of respect between the two of us. I always knew that Keith was one of my biggest champions, and always knew how to reassure me that the things I was trying as a new director were absolutely good for us. I will so dearly miss seeing his face in the front row of our chorus. I will miss making Red Sox jokes just to see his face light up. I will miss deep discussions about how to bring more singing to more people in our communities. Keith, there will always be a place on our risers for you, and a home for you in my heart.
