|Philip Charles Tulin, 1922-2011, Beloved father, passed away at age 89 after a short illness on November 29. He leaves his daughter, Ilene Susan Gasperini of Farmington; son Lee M. Tulin and wife Christine, of Scottsdale, AZ; two grandchildren Michael and Rachael; nephew Jimmy Levy and wife Debbie; niece Nancy and husband Robert Goodman, all of West Hartford. Philip loved and admired his sister Ethel Levy, who passed away at an early age. Lorraine Tulin, wife of Philip Tulin predeceased him. The son of Anna (Silversmith) and Louis Tulin, an honored Veteran of the US Coast Guard and US Navy, Special Coding Unit. Philip was an avid basketball and baseball player during his tour of duty in the Second World War. He received Naval accommodations along with an accommodation from the Connecticut Secretary of State. Positive attitude and higher education values were most important to Philip. Years after the service, Philip and his business partner Dave Arnold built a successful automobile business. Philip received many honors from the Ford Motor Company. He went on to create the number one Real Estate company, Don Lee Reality, in Wethersfield and Rocky Hill, with his co-partner Don St. Jacques. With the success of their Real Estate business, they created Woodmont Homes. They specialized in Residential, Commercial and Apartment complexes throughout CT and MA. His passing will leave a void with family, friends and numerous lives he touched. His uncanny affection for animals further exuded his warmth and compassion.|
