Landerman, Abraham – born in Hartford, CT on September 6, 1930, died in his home in Storrs, CT on September 8, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, of 53 years, his daughter, Karen L. Anderson, son-in-law, Vincent, granddaughter, Rachel, 18 years old, grandson, Nicholas, 16 years old, of Madison, CT, son, Kevin Landerman of North Branford, CT, and son, Brian Landerman of Storrs, CT. Abraham graduated from Purdue University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with Mechanical Engineering degrees, and worked as an engineer for almost forty years at United Technologies Research Center in East Hartford, CT. Upon retirement, Abraham enjoyed building furniture, stone walls, gardening, making his own pickles and cabbage, and spending time with his family. He delivered meals to the seniors for Meals-on-Wheels in the Mansfield community for many years. Despite the times when he had a hard time walking and delivering the meals, his wife, Nancy would help out with his route.
