Albert M. Kleinman, 88 years of age, was born in Hartford on February 6, 1917, and passed away peacefully on July 15, 2005 in Fairlee, West Virginia, surrounded by his family. He was the middle son of Isidore and Mary Kleinman. He was a certified dental technician and had his own business, American Dental Lab in Hartford for many years, after which he worked part-time for Suburban Dental Lab in Bloomfield. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a proud graduate of Weaver High School, class of 1935 and later earned his Associates Degree from Manchester Community College. He was a 15 year volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood Center, helping at countless blood drives. He was a gifted artist specializing in oil painting of landscapes and enjoyed art classes at the Greater Hartford Community College. He attended art lessons at the Bloomfield Senior Center and was a longtime active member of the Wintonbury Art League. It was through the Wintonbury Art League that many of his paintings were exhibited and entered into several juried art shows. He is survived by Frances, his wife of 56 years; daughter Jeanne Spinosa Glier of Jamestown, Rhode Island; son Gary Kleinman of Wyckoff, New Jersey; son-in-law Michael Glier; daughter-in-law Maureen, and granddaughters Jessica and Sarah Kleinman, whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his younger brother, Leo Kleinman; sisters-in-law Barbara and Estelle; nephews Steven, Edward, and Ronald and nieces Donna and Beth. He is predeceased by his parents and his older brother Benjamin. He is mourned by his loving family in West Virginia. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford with Rabbi Stanley M. Kessler officiating. Interment will follow in Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon.
