Obituary

Ann Hirth (nee Broder vel Leszkowicz), 95 years of age, of Manchester, CT passed away March 11, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. She was the widow of Emanuel “Mike” Hirth. Born in Vienna, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sara (nee Witman) Broder vel Leszkowicz. She was a member of Beth Sholom B’nai Israel of Manchester, CT. She leaves her children, Steven H. Hirth with Ms. Nino Zaridze of New York, NY, Jane Sarges of Tucson, AZ, and Liora Cannon; and her grandchildren, Morgan Sarges, Jennifer Covey, Rob Sarges, Ian Moses Cannon, Reno Zaridze, Marco Heinrichs and two great grandchildren Ashley Sarges and Gabriel Sarges. Funeral services will be held at 12 o’clock noon on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Beth Sholom B’nai Israel, 400 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester, CT with Rabbi Richard Plavin officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Beth Sholom Memorial Park, Autumn Street, Manchester, CT. Following interment, the family will begin Shiva at 125 Highwood Drive, Manchester, CT for two (2) days and then complete the Shiva observance at 200 Central Park South, Apt 6E, New York, NY 10019. Visits to pay respects may be made between the hours of 10 AM and 9 PM. In Manchester, evening services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 and Thursday, March 17th, 2016 at 7:30 PM. Beginning Friday, March 18, Shiva will be from 12 noon to 5:00 PM, resuming Saturday, sundown until 10 PM, Sunday through Monday, 10 AM to 9 PM and Tuesday 10:00 to noon.
