I remember Bea and my mother would frequently call each other on the phone and yell at each other; but they would always tell me afterwards how much they loved each other, and how close they were to each other. My wife, Margie, and my daughter, Katie, were very close to Bea and Jerry when we all lived in Florida. On a few occassions, Katie tried to teach Bea how to use her (dial-up) computer. We all occassionally met at a local deli in Delray Beach. Bea was such a positive person. She always brought out the best in people. My aunt Bea was an amazing person.

I have fond memories of my aunt Bea and all our talks. She passed on to me great wisdom and we continued contact even though I had moved to London, England. I will miss her.

I’ll always remember my Aunt Bea fondly as someone that brought family together. All of the cousins would gather at her home with Uncle Jerry. As young children we would feast and play and laugh and share.
In particular, I think back to the ever-present bowls of peanuts & raisins; an early lesson that salty & sweet together are divine. I ate them by the handful, but she never ran out. I told her years later that those little snacks were an early inspiration which led to a love of food and a future in catering. She took my hand and laughed her wonderful laugh.
Looking back, I think what was most inspirational was how she opened her home in such a wonderful way. I miss those days, and I will miss my Aunt Bea dearly.

An era has ended. What a wonderful generation - the one that gave us life. Bea certainly gave life! I will always smile when I think of her. I stopped in to visit on 12/7 - but she did not answer her door - probably napping - wish I had woken her. Have to treasure every moment we share with our loved ones. I am sorry for her loss. Condolences to all.

Too many cherished memories to mention. My aunt "Beattie" remains a gift in my life. Her loss is the end of a generation and will be felt deeply.
