Bernie was the kindest, most gentle and loving person you could ever meet. I can not say enough about what a wonderful man Bernie was to everyone who came in contact with him. I know how much he loved his family. God is happy to have Bernie beside him now, and to know he will be watching us everyday is comforting.

Bernie I will never forget you, may you rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Merrill and Bernie's family. Knowing Bernie for two years I could write a book to mention all of the wonderful qualities that he had. Bernie you will be missed by many, many people. My boys will miss you very much. I will never forget Bernie's famous saying "be good to yourself". May you rest in peace. Love Beata.
