I have such wonderful memories of the Reisner family - it seems half my childhood was spent at the Pinney Road house, where the Reisners always treated me as a member of the family. Mrs. Reisner, Heidi, Ron and Marc - your husband/father was a great man. My deepest condolences and prayers.

I have very fond memories of your husband, father. I worked in a group home in Simsbury and we brought our clients to his barber shop to get their hair cut. He was such a kind, patient, a caring man with each of our clients. He always had a smile and treated our clients with dignity and respect. I always enjoyed anytime I had to take them there for a haircut. I think of him and my many trips to his shop whenever I drive by where his shop used to be. Please know my many thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sadness and grief.

We lost my wife’s last month on the 13th and the void that is left when we lose a parent is hard to fill. We keep the memories close to our hearts and find that each day they are still with us as seen through our actions and in the lives of our children.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

"Carl the Barber" cut my hair, for many years, and I know gentlemen (from all over) who went to Carl for their haircuts. Even after moving out of Weatogue (and moving to Bristol), about 18 years ago, I continued to have Carl do my hair, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. He was a very fine man, who took tremendous pride in his family. I have missed him, very much, and will always remember those nice pictures of his family, in his shop. He was, truly, a good guy, who has left so many with fond memories of lively conversations, and friendship.
God Bless!

We are so sad to hear of your loss. May your memories bring you comfort. To say that his time with us was far too short is an understatement. The reality is that he will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him.

No doubt the outpouring of sympathy you have received since his parting has been of some consolation. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to you of how well-loved and liked he was.
