Dear Fred & Family,
We were so saddened to hear of Carol's passing. When we met you in Florida at Gleneagles, inspite of our age differences there was an instant bonding between our two families. We felt as if we have known you all our lives. Carol loved our children and you both watched them grow into adults getting married and having children of their own.
We hope time can heal the hurt and wonderful memories help make this time go better. Our love to you and your family.

It is with heavy heart that I write to Fred (whom I knew as Mr. Sherbacow) and the children to express my sincere condolences. I had the pleasure of babysitting Jill and Kenny when the family lived in Elmwood. I remember Carol as a smiling, gracious, welcoming, loving mother. She had such an expressive face, with sparkling brown eyes - a fun-loving, and endearing woman. I remember when Eric was born, I was charmed when the family called him Nu-Nu. And I remember being thrilled when Carol had me babysit overnight, after the family had moved to another part of West Hartford. It was she who delighted in introducing me to bagels and lox - the real deal. I've often thought of her and Fred and the children, especially when driving anywhere near Bishop's Corner. I still keep in touch with Millie (from across Madsen Rd), and Carol's passing is mourned by us both. Please accept my deepest sympathy. In Fond Remembrance of Carol, Maureen

Carol was a fighter a wonderful human being, and a great mother. Her life should not be remebered for the recent past, but for all the years prior to her illness. May those memories be foir a blessing to Herb and to the entire family

Fred & family, I was so sad to read of Carol's passing. She played such a huge roll in my life when I was growing up. I remember when Eric was born. Jill & I played together, growing up across the street from each other. There was no one else who compared to Carol on any level. She was a wonderful woman and I can't believe she is gone. I send you my sincere sympathy for your loss. Her memory is a blessing.

I have not seen Mrs Sherbacow in years. But she is the kind of person who you remember fondly, when you look back at your youth. I remember her as Eric's mom, and always cheery, kind, and fun. That says alot about her. Warm wishes and condolences to the whole family. Joe Adam
