Claire L. (Zieky) Hutner, 67 years of age, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Wethersfield, CT loving wife of 45 years to Nelson Hutner passed away on Tuesday, June 5 with her her family by her side. Claire fought a courageous five-year battle with ovarian and endometrial cancer. She is survived by her children Lisa Hutner Stevens and her husband Thomas Stevens of Wethersfield, CT and son Michael Hutner and his wife, Debi, of Tampa, FL. She was Bubby to Rian Stevens and Kaylee, Ashlynn and Hayden Hutner. She also leaves her sisters Anne Zieky of West Hartford, Marlene Robinson and her husband William of Westerly, RI, brother Ronald Zieky and wife Rhonda of West Hartford, sister-in-law Lynn Feigin and her husband Arnold and mother-in-law Freda Hutner. She was loved by her nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. She loved and was loved by her many friends in Connecticut and Florida. She was born in Hartford, CT and grew up in Bloomfield, CT she was predeceased by her parents Paul and Rose (Rubin) Zieky.
Once she moved to Florida, she become an avid golfer and sang back-up in a music group. Claire loved all of of her family and friends. Where ever she went she made special connections. She was a very special lady and will always be in our hearts.

Funeral services will be Graveside on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, 5 Wolcott Road, East Granby, CT with Rabbi Yitzchok Adler officiating. Immediately following the service a memorial period will be observed at the home of Ronald and Rhonda Zieky, 47 Tumblebook Lane, West Hartford and the following day at the home of Lisa and Thomas Stevens, 537 Prospect Street, Wethersfield, CT.
