CLEMENT “RED” MEDNICK, 85, of Reservoir Road, Newington, husband of Helen (Kahn) Mednick, died Thursday, February 9, 2006. Born in Waterbury, he was the son of the late Abraham and Ida (Luchnick) Mednick.. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II, member of the Jewish War Veterans, and a member of Beth El Synagogue, Waterbury, and past president of the Beth El Synagogue Men’s Club. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons: Steven Mednick and his wife Marlene of Hamden, and Terry Mednick of Milford; a daughter: Charlene Barber of Cromwell; six grandchildren: Michael, Lauren, Jason, Alexander, Bree-lyn and Victoria; and a sister Rosalind Larman of Los Angeles, CA. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Friday, February 10, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford. Interment will follow in the Workmens Circle Cemetery, Waterbury. A private period of mourning will be observed by the family.
