David was a great friend for many years. I have many fond memories of time spent with him listening to jazz records, watching wrestling matches and dancing the night away. His memory will always be a blessing for me.

My father-in-law, Charlie Pinto, lives around the corner from where David used to walk Rocky. Through Rocky, they met, and my Father-In-Law thought Rocky was the best. David let Charlie take some photos, and from that Charlie did a wonderful oil painting of David and Rocky. The winter passed, but Charlie knew that David spent winters in Fla. The painting hung in the Hall Memorial Library in Ellington as part of a Charles Pinto exhibit (February 2012). Through a mutual acquaintance Charlie just learned of David's passing. He was hoping to give the painting to David and wondered why he hadn't seen him throughout the summer. We would still like to offer the painting to Regina, or whoever she thinks would enjoy it. Please let us know, and we send our deepest sympathy for losing such a very sweet man. We know Rocky must miss him also. Sincerely, jeanne La Rose-Pinto

I have fond memories of the days back at the Beth Sholom Synagogue in Hartford where we were active members of the Young Adult Club. We used to hang out together and go on bus trips to various resorts on weekends. We had a lot of laughs and good times. In recent years we went to Shriners' lunches together, met up at Hometown Buffet and hung out. Miss you, friend.

Uncle Dave,

Bibi, Zachary,Tyler and I are so happy you were able to spend so many holidays and birthdays with are family. We will cherish those memories forever.
The faimily get togethers will never be the same without you. It seems like yesterday that you Zach and I would meet at Big Y for breakfast Zach loved that and still talks about those meetings and when Tyler was born and his first Christmas was really cranky you took him and layed him on your chest and he fell asleep for hours. You were not only a good friend you were part of our family.
Dave may you rest in peace we all love you very much.
God Bless you buddy we Love you very much and will miss you.

Cousin David was a straightforward man.
He knew what he liked and did what he liked.
And you always could know where he stood.

Farewell, friend. May your soul find peace.
