David

(Adam)

Ross

Obituary

David A. Ross, 46 years of age, of Vernon, CT., passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Born in Manhasset, NY, he was the son of Blanche (Zaref) Ross of Vernon, CT and the late Steven L. Ross. David was a loving, sincere, and kind soul. An artist at heart, David played guitar and took great pride in his work as a graphic designer. He tried to tread lightly on the earth; always considerate of other people’s feelings and needs. One of his favorite things to do was to take a drive in his 1976 green Toyota pickup truck. David had a love of animals and adopted a number of rescue cats. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his sister, Laurie Ross and her husband, Jeff Black, of Worcester, MA. David was a ‘cool’ uncle to Zoe and Eli. The family especially wants to recognize Paul Resnick for his friendship and invaluable support to David over the years. Private funeral services have been held. Shiva will be observed Sunday, May 27th – Thursday, May 31st from 6:30-9:00 PM, with a service each night at 7:00 PM at 217 Echo Dr. in Vernon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Shore Animal League America. To Mrs. Ross and Laurie,

I was just informed of the passing of David. I was out of state at the time and was not aware of David's passing. David was truly a gentle, kind person. I remember spending many hours with David just talking about his concerns and life in general. I enjoyed having David as a student and I will never forget how his face beamed when he smiled. A great person and he will be remembered. Again, my thoughts are with you both.

Too many to even get started. But he was always there or me and my family, from the days of taking care of us in his Buick Regal, to being there for me and my wife’s family when my father in law passed, to being there to watch and support my kids for all their sports games. I will and have thought of him every day.
