Obituary

Debbie Levy, 60, of West Hartford, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2015 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving husband, James, who had thirty-six beautiful years with Debbie, and her two loving daughters, Emily and Stephanie, who were the loves of her life. She also leaves a brother, Steven Liebman, and his wife Alberta and was predeceased by her parents, Herman and Doris Liebman. Debbie also leaves many close relatives, especially the Selden and Liebman families, and friends. She was a beloved member of the community and devoted pre-school teacher for over twenty years at the Jewish Community Center. Graveside services will be on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. at Beth Israel Cemetery, Avon. Following the service, people are welcome back to the home of Todd and Elizabeth Liebman, West Hartford. Shiva will be held on Monday and Tuesday evenings with a service at 7:00 P.M., also at the Liebman home. Contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
