So many memories spending time at the Diamond's home. Sitting in their kitchen with Doris - Ann Louise and I have known each other since we've been 12! Lots of wonderful memories. Doris always looked beautiful. I lspent as much time at the Diamonds as I did at my house. Those were the days.

We are so sadden to learn of Doris' passing. My mom Ruth Hershkovitz grew up with Doris in Hartford and they were best friends for many years. They reconnected at Chatfield in West Hartford and enjoyed time together once again - sharing laughs, enjoying music, playing games like Rummicub and even the occasional bridge hand. Even though Doris had difficulty seeing, she always was part of the group and truly lived well every day. We will miss her spirit for living and her love of friends and family. Our deepest condolences to Ann Louise and Richard and her family.

I recall the many wonderful hours I spent with Doris and Harry when I was growing up. They were like family to me, and among my parents' very best friends. Doris always had a smile on her face, a kind word for everyone and loved her family so very much. I will always cherish my fond memories of her.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother, Doris Diamond. Your parents were my parents', Murray and Muriel Goldberg, neighbors on Lyman Road in West Hartford, and that special friendship continued in Farmington. "May you find comfort amoung the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem."
