Dorothy, Dvedela, Aunt Dee, I'm going to miss you so much. Growing up - our house was your second home. You came over for holidays, birthdays, & special events. You were at my naming, my Bat Mitzvah & all my graduations. After mom died, you became my surrogate mother. You talked to me about all kinds of topics & had my best interest at heart. I loved that you traveled the world and brought back wonderful stories, pictures & gifts.
You were always there for me. You loved calling Rafi your littlest nephew and held Rebecca & Alex as babies. You cried when we named Alex after Zede and kvelled when the kids came to visit. You loved our family and Molly's family and we will always keep you close in our hearts.
Rest in peace.

All our love, Debbie, Raphael, Rebecca & Alex

My sincere thoughts go out to the family of Mrs. Gitlavitz.
She was my 9th grade algebra teacher at Roosevelt Jr. High School
in New Britain in 1957. She was a great teacher and was also
my homeroom teacher. I can still remember her hitting me over
the top of my head with her black leather gloves when I did
something wrong. She also drove that green Pontiac car that I
really loved.I lived across the street from the school and I
always watch her leave school and drive off with it. In all my
years of school, I never forgot Mrs Gitlavitz. She was a great
and sincere teacher of the time.

It was my pleasure to know Dorothy. I lunched with her many times at Maplewoods. Often she preferred closing her eyes than eating. My day was always made when I got her to smile and say she was feeling "peachy".
