Ms. Greenberg was such a sweet woman. She was a customer at the bank I work at and it was always a pleasure to see her and chat about travelling and her family that she cared for so much. It is so sad to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace. My prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear about Lynn. As a member of AAUW-WHC, Lynn and our April birthday group have spent some lovely days together enjoying some local wineries. Even though Lynn did not drink, she went along for the fun! What an incredible woman. I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family at this time.

Mark and Jennifer - This is no doubt one of the most difficult separations that we all must endure in life, and I am thinking of you and your family. There are no words that can possibly ease the pain or bring the comfort needed in the loss of a beloved parent, so my simple prayer is that the God of all comfort will grant you peace, and that all the sweet memories and tender moments that you've shared together in life with such wonderful woman will continue to fill your hearts with joy...until you meet again.

I first met Lynn when I moved to Houston and joined the Greater Houston Jewish Genealogical Society. We became friends during our conversations to and from meetings. We found that we had many things in common such as we were both originally from New York, moved to Florida and lived there for many years before moving to Texas. We were both members of Hadassah but in different groups. We were members of the JCC and during our conversations we would exchange ideas regarding our genealogy searches. There were other topics we discussed as well that forged a bond between us. She will be missed.

Lynn was a faithful member of the West Harris County Branch of the American Association of University Women. She enjoyed cultural outings and sharing celebrations with others who shared her April birthday month. She will be remembered for her lively conversations and positive attitude toward life.

My husband, Bob, Howie, Lynn and I spent many happy reunions at University of Pennsylvania and we had one last dinner with Dad when we met at Innisbrook in Florida. Please accept my most sincere condolences, Maida and Mark. They all were taken too early. Mom was one of the most caring people I know.

I have been out of town and did not know that Lynn was so ill. I enjoyed some AAUW "cultural" tours with Lynn as she got to know Texas. I am sorry that she might have suffered. Do know that wonderful memories will flood out any last discomforts.

Lynn was a dear friend of my mother, Ruth Broth, and I was lucky to also become Lynn's friend. We worked together in the Brith Shalom Gift Shop and shared many happy times together. Her loss is huge and it is difficult to believe she is gone. Family meant everything to her and I hope that her family has many wonderful memories of her to comfort them.

I will never forget being Elinor's roommate in New York. We got along so well and enjoyed many happy hours on our Genealogical trip, both in researching and visiting. Also, her happy presence at meetings of GHJGS in Houston was always welcome. I recall how uncertain she was beginning her research, and the progress she made. My heartfelt feelings to her sister, whom I met, and to all her family. I shall miss her.

To Lynn's family, she spoke of all you so warmly and was so happy her Grandson was to be married. I have known her since I came to Houston through Hadassah and the JCC. We had some good day trips together. I will miss her.

It was only a couple months ago that Lynn and I sat together and chatted for about 45 minutes while getting our nails done. The contact of her conversation revolved around our families and what they meant to us. She was a lovely, kind, caring person and we worked together on several projects at our synagogue. Her memory is of a blessing. Condolences to her family, so dear to her. She will be missed.

I am a friend of Mark and Jennifer Greenberg. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Lynn Greenberg, however, her star truly shined in her son and daughter's families. Lynn Greenberg will be remebered for all she contributed during life and for the kindness she showed to others by a simple touch or thought. She will continue in spirit.

My deepest sympathies to the Greenberg family.

Love,
Delores Frenzel
