BARON, Esther T. Esther Tucker Baron, 103, born June 19, 1903, passed away peacefully on Saturday, (February 10, 2007), at the Hebrew Home and Hospital. Esther was predeceased by her parents Michael and Ida Tucker, loving husband Lou Baron, caring and wonderful daughter-in-law Joyce Baron, brother William Tucker and aunt entertainer Sophie Tucker. Esther was known for her sweet voice, fine fashion sense and modesty. She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her as the special lady that she was. Esther was a member of Temple Beth Israel, a life member of the Hebrew Home and Hospital, Hadassah, B’Nai Brith, American Medical Center and many other charitable organizations. The matriarch and Bubbie of a five-generation family, she leaves her daughter and son-in-law Doris and Herb Golinsky of Avon, her son Irwin Baron of Florida, her grandchildren Gail and Jed Golinksy of Florida, Lynn Ludwin of Plainville, Iris and Eric Spungin of Avon, Marlene and Mitch Iadarola of Florida and Rebecca and Michael Baron of California, her adoring great grandchildren, Seth Iadarola, Melissa Iadarola, Scott Ludwin. Emily Golinsky, Lindsay Spungin, Jessica Ludwin, Gregory Spungin, Lewis Baron and Jaydin Baron and her four precious great grandchildren. Esther’s family would like to thank and acknowledge the Hebrew Home and Hospital for the wonderful care she received, especially the staff of the 2 North Unit.
