I have very fond memories of Ethel and Al Hutner from the 60s and 70s when they were friends with my parents Lewis and Mickey Wrubel. Please accept my condolences.

Aunt Ethel, or Auntie Apple as I used to call her as a child, was a warm and generous person. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. My mother, Anna Beck, loved her sister very much. They were very close. Ethel was a talented singer and I remember her singing at my wedding. Aunt Ethel always remembered our birthdays, anniversaries and Yahzeits and reminded us by sending us a Jewish calendar each year upon which she had written in those dates. The Passover seders that she prepared when I was younger will always be a wonderful memory for me.
I loved her very much and will miss her.
