Please accept deepest condolences from my husband Vince and me and my mother Sheila Stein and her partner Leonard Kitchman.
I will remember Evelyn with great respect, affection and admiration. She was an elegant and thoughtful woman. I have known Evelyn and Paul most of my life. Perhaps most important for my famiily though, is the kindness and friendship both Evelyn and Paul have shown my mother since my father passed away. It is not always the case that your friends remain supportive and loving. That, however, was the case with Evelyn and Paul. I will be forever grateful to have known them both and wish your family the love, comfort and support that Evelyn and Paul have shown mine.

Dear Nancy and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Mom. I was at the
French Cleaners the other day and I was engrossed
With Rita the sales woman behind the counter,
She was hugging me because my Wonderful
Dad had passed away the week before. As i turned
To leave I saw your brother Morty and he told me.
I loved your mom just like she was mine. I was so
Upset when I left. I would have been there but I was
In New York taking care of my dad's funeral.
We both will have our love ones in our hearts
Forever. She was one of a kind. I will always
Treasure her friendship. Sorry for your loss.

We did not have the privilege of meeting your mother, but judging from her support of tsedakah and from your accomplishments and those of your sisters, she must have been a very special person. She was blessed to have great grandchildren to whom you can recount fond memories for years to come.
