SCHOR, Genia (Tannenbaum) Schor, 82, of Hammick Rd., West Hartford and Boynton Beach, FL, died Saturday, December 29, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Moishe and Rachel Tannenbaum. Genia was a Holocaust Survivor. She was a member of Beth David Synagogue in West Hartford, a life-member of Hadassah, and a past president of the Pioneer Womens Organization in Hartford. She leaves her husband, Joseph Schor; her daughter, Roberta Walpert and her husband Kenneth of Upper Saddle River, NJ; two sons, Nathan Schor of Miami, FL, and Mark Schor of Wellington, FL; and three grandchildren, Adam Walpert, Jacob Walpert, and Benjamin Schor. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Yitzchok Adler officiating. Interment will follow in the Aaron Association Cemetery, Hartford. Shiva will be observed at her home, 31 Hammick Rd., West Hartford, Monday following the funeral through Thursday evening.
