Dear Steve and family,
I have been seeing you virtually at minyans at Beth El, but had no idea that you are saying Kaddish for your brother George, as we are for our granddaughter Miriam. Such a terribly sad time for both of our families. We send our condolences to you all. George sounds like a wonderful and talented guy. May his memory always be as a blessing to you all. -Bobby & David Klau

Craig and I are very sorry for your loss. When we were married we had signed with a band that changed singers, resulting in our not using them. We were under the gun and decided to see if Atlas as available. They were! George worked with us so well in making the music just perfect for our special day. The space was a bit small so he only amplified the vocals and guitar. He also planned the songs over the three sets so that the older guests had some they danced to in the first, a mix of those songs and more recent ones for the younger crew and the final set with the all out for our age guests. Perfect!!! Craig and I would bump into George occasionally in Syracuse. We always made a point to say hello and he always responded in a way that showed he knew who you were (whether he did or not) and he was glad to see you. We are lucky to have known George and to have benefitted from his talents and his being just the nicest person.

Steve, I am so sorry to hear of your brother's passing. I have some very fond memories when we hung out together back in Junior High. Peter Eddy & Freddy Ruder were a few of the local kids that I recall as well. He was very fun loving & adventuresome always willing to try something new.
He will definitely be missed I am sure.
Be well,
Dave Elovich

As a big fan of Atlas, I want to thank you George for all the wonderful entertainment you provided the community throughout the years. It was a given that whenever you and Atlas were on stage, there was a party in the crowd.
