SHERRY, Gloria (Seller) Sherry, 83 years of age, of West Hartford, died Monday, December 27, 2010. She was the widow of Maurice L. Sherry. Born in The Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sarah (Massarsky) Seller. Gloria was the financial manager of the Food Service Department at The Aetna for over 20 years retiring in 1987. She was a member of The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford and the Synagogue Sisterhood. She leaves her daughter, Hope S. Tripp and her husband, Stanley A. Tripp of West Hartford; two grandsons, Jonathan and Benjamin Tripp; and a brother, Barney Massarsky and his wife Sally of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The family wants to express their appreciation for the wonderful care she received from her caretaker, Thylda Campbell. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, 1361 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield. A memorial period will be observed at the home of her daughter, 23 Miamis Road, West Hartford on Wednesday following the funeral through Thursday evening.
