To Mark: My sincere sympathies to you on the passing of your mother. Gwen was a very fortunate mother to have your care and devotion in the final days of her life. She was such a sweet lady.

I will always remember the trips we made to Hartford from Brooklyn when dad got his one week off. Aunt Gwen and Uncle Ben would always make us feel so welcome. When we ate, she would always make special arrangements for me since she knew I was such a fussy eater. In the later years the journeys would be reversed when she and Mark would come west to visit. Great memories of great times. Our family will miss her.
