RUZENSKY, Helen (Aron) Ruzensky, 90, of Avon, devoted wife of 68 years, to Abe Ruzensky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 7, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Benjamin and Rose Aron, she lived in the greater Hartford area her entire life and graduated from Hartford High School, Class of 1935. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Mena Ruzensky of Granby. She was the proud grandmother of two grandchildren, Rob Ruzensky of Juno Beach, FL, and Jodi Greene and her husband Sean of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She also leaves three treasured great-grandchildren, Joshua, Lexi and Jacob. Other family members include Jacqi Ruzensky, David and Jody Chozick, Sandy and Gerald Goldberg, and Joy and Arnie Hamburg. She enjoyed playing mahjong, gin-rummy and blackjack with family and friends and loved watching sports, especially UConn Womens basketball and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. She will be missed very much by all those she touched in her 90 years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in The Piaterer Verein Society Cemetery, Jordan Lane Ext., Wethersfield. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday following the funeral at the home of Abe Ruzensky, 86 Whispering Pines II, Avon.
