I found out about Howard today, 12/11. I am extremely saddened by his passing. It's just so sad. I didn't work directly with Howard but we used to talk on occasion. I knew from other's that Howard was a very smart man and an excellent worker. He will be missed. We kept in touch quite a bit after Howard left the Southbury IBM site to work from home full time. Howard loved his MG, buying tools and working on his house. He was quite handy and had recently completed installing all new windows in his house. He was a good man and I will miss our conversations. Rest in peace Howard.

I remember Howard as far back as King Philip Elementary School. He was a good kid, and I distinctly recall that he played the bass fiddle. I was so sorry to learn of his passing and extend my condolences to his loved ones.
Most sincerely,

Mrs. Black and Rick, and your families, I am so sorry to read about Howie. While it has been so long since I've seen him, my childhood would not have been the same without him. Only two doors away I feel like I was at your house almost as much as my own. From riding out bikes in your backyard into KP to blowing up firecrackers on the front bumper of your old Mercury. From playing running bases in the schoolyard to our snowball fights in the forts we used to build when the parking lot was plowed. From borrowing his Martin guitar for summer school to being angry with him for not letting me drive his first car - that old Pontiac. Too many memories...too many memories.

He will be missed. Baruch dayan emet. May his memory be a blessing. With love, Allan.

I am so sorry to hear of Howard's passing. A good neighbor and friend growing up on Lyman Road. His smile, dry sense of humor and ability to fix anything will be missed. My deepest condolences to dearest Bernice and brother "Ricky."

Bernice and Rickie - I am so so sorry for the loss of Howard! Our families were together for so many years, and I even remember having "food fights" in the basement in babysitting for the boys. lots of hugs IRENE
