I am so saddened by the news of "Auntie Jane's" death. She was a remarkable woman with a remarkable life force. I have so many memories of her from WHTY -- warm, energetic, dynamic, funny, creative and empathetic. Marcy -- my thoughts go out to you and to your family. Your mother was one of a kind and so very, very special.

I am so sad to hear about Janie's passing! I remember her so well from long ago family gatherings in West Hatford. (I am Doris Schwarz Hurwit's granddaughter -- Jane's second cousin once removed). My thoughts are with the family at this sad time -- with love,
Dina

Dear Marcie, Leigh, Liza, Jenna & Sara,
So many wonderful memories will always be with us when Jane comes to mind. Besides being a terrific 'balabusta' in the kitchen, no one could tell a joke better than Jane! She might be gone, but certainly not forgotten. Jane was one of those people who left an indelible imprint on your life, and to know her was to love her. It is with a big smile that I will always remember my dear friend Jane ~ we shared so much in the few years she lived at Hershey's Mill. My deepest condolences to all of you, but always remember that those wonderful memories will never die. Warmest regards, Sheila Kanter

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Jane Feigenbaum or "Auntie Jane" as all of the kids in Temple Beth Israel Youth Group called her. I have fond memories of Auntie Jane who opened her home and her heart to all of us in Youth Group back in 70's. My thoughts are with Marcie and the rest of her family at this difficult time.

Every young person should have an adult confidante who is not their parent, to give them objective wisdom, guidance, encouragement and love. Jane Feigenbaum was that person for me and so many others in our youth group. She changed lives.

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Jane and I grew up together, our parents were the best of friends and we often were at each others houses. Not only did we spend lots of time together in West Hartford but also spent our summers together at Middle Beach in Westbrook. We drifted apart later in life but I will always remember your mother's quick wit and sense of humor. I know she touche many lives, yours especially. She will be missed but remembered fondly by those who knew her. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
