Jerome Rosenberg, 86, of Delray Beach, FL, formerly of Hartford and Bloomfield, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 in Florida.Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late David and Hannah (Einsohn) Rosenberg. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Before he retired in 1981, Mr. Rosenberg was the owner of the Sandwich Shop at 111 Pearl St. in Hartford, a hub for professional people. In Florida, he became a leader in his condominium association and editor of its paper, both of which brought him great pleasure and honor. He leaves his wife Beatrice (Rosenberg) Rosenberg, two daughters: Anndee Robinson and her husband Richard of West Hartford and Debra Michaud and her husband Daniel of Rocky Hill; four grandchildren: Julie Levy and her husband Jerrold, Amy Federman and her husband Eric, Marshall Trigg, and Rachel Kobe and her husband Kyle; and six great grandchildren: Ariel and Talia Levy, Jacob and Samuel Federman, Vincent Lena and Hannah Kobe. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford with Rabbi Gary Atkins and Rabbi Philip Lazowski co-officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, East Granby. A memorial period will be observed at the home of his daughter Anndee, 62 Emily Way, West Hartford through Sunday.
