Jon

(M.)

Case

Obituary

Jon M. Case of Glastonbury, CT beloved husband of Eileen and father to Mara and Anna passed away on January 21, 2018. He died following a brief illness. The son of Howard E. Case and Susan H. Case of Glastonbury, CT and brother to Wendy Casey and Andy Case. He was born in New Britain, CT November 20, 1961. Raised in Glastonbury, CT he graduated from Glastonbury High School and received his undergraduate and MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He resided in Glastonbury, CT for the past 16 years. He co-founded Founders Capital Management in 2002. He was a man of great heart and kindness who always found a way to share his intellectual curiosity with others. His dry sense of humor kept his family and friends laughing. He spent years coaching his daughters and nephew in both soccer and tennis. He was extraordinarily proud of his children and fostered a deep and special bond with each of them. He would certainly say they were his greatest achievements second only to his 26 year marriage to Eileen. Jon also leaves his 4 sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and his treasured nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service at Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT 06105 at 11am Wednesday, January 24. Calling hours will be at the family’s home, 193 Millstone Road, Glastonbury, CT. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Welles-Turner Memorial Library, 2407 Main Street, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
