Joyce (Feinberg) Schilberg, of Sandstone Dr., South Windsor, died Tuesday, 2 September 2014 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Benjamin C. Schilberg. Born in The Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late David and Lena (Kniberg) Feinberg. She graduated from NYU in New York City, NY. Joyce was a member of Beth Sholom B’nai Israel of Manchester and Temple B’nai Israel of Willimantic, a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the Sisterhood of the Temple. She was also a life member of Hadassah. She leaves her sons, Bernard C. Schilberg and his wife Beth of South Windsor, and Nathan B. Schilberg and his wife Barbara of South Windsor; and five grandchildren, David Schilberg and his wife Amber, Bryan Schilberg and his wife Rachel, Robb Schilberg, Joshua Schilberg, and Justin Schilberg; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Beth Sholom B’nai Israel, 400 East Middle Turnpike, Manchester, CT 06040 with Rabbi Richard Plavin and Rabbi Marshal Press officiating. Interment will follow in Temple B’nai Israel Cemetery, Mansfield. A memorial period will be observed Friday following the interment at the home of her son, Bernard, and Sunday evening at the home of her son, Nathan.
