(Mikel 'Muskrat-Judi')

Moscariello

Obituary

1960-2019 Wethersfield-Judith Mikel Moscariello, 59, died suddenly on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at her home. She was born in Milford, Connecticut on October 30, 1960. She is survived by her sisters Silvia Debra Moscariello of Waterbury, Connecticut, and Jaye Alison Moscariello and her husband William R. Taylor of Redwood Valley, California, her dear friends among whom are Bill Saloman of Wethersfield, Serena Oprecht of Newington, Andrea Mitchell of Hartford, Friends On The Go, Lasher Court Community, Laura Davis of Washington, D.C., her many friends of Zeno Mountain Farm in Lincoln, Vermont, and Cheshire Project in Los Angeles. Jinette and Diana. She is predeceased by her loving father Alfonso Philip Moscariello, loving mother Elaine Kohn Moscariello, and her sister Leslie Moscariello Rienzi. Judith was an actress and also a proud Avon representative. Before becoming an Avon representative, Judith worked as a sensitivity trainer at Marrakech, Inc. in Woodbridge. For many years Judith was a wheelchair athlete competing in both Regional and National CP Sports. She had been a member of The Hole In The Wall Theatre in New Britain, and also the Wethersfield Historical Society. Quirky and intelligent, Judith was a bright ray of sunlight who illuminated every room she entered. Her infectious laugh, wry sense of humor, and big heart will be severely missed by her family and community. Her sisters can never repay her for making them the people they are today. The heavens are that much brighter for the addition of this beautiful star. She is best known for her roles in the Cheshire Project and Zeno Mountain Farm Production films: Return of the Muskrats, Sweetwater Tides, Bulletproof and the award winning documentary The Making of Bulletproof. Services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, her burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford, will follow. From 4pm to 7 pm there will be a potluck reception at Lasher Court Community Room at 333 Maple Street, in Wethersfield.
