One moment comes to mind. After doing a project Keith played kick the empty bottle with my son for a while on the grass in front of our building. Just lots of fun loving and we had a good time just being silly. He was really impressed and looked up to Keith and for the longest time wanted me to get him candy cigarettes so he could be like Keith. We all liked him and will always pray for him and remember him. This is hard for all of us to accept.

Arrived home tonight (Friday, 12-21) to this sad news via a friend's annual holiday greeting. Although Keith and I had not been in regular touch in years, as too often happens with childhood friends, this leaves me with a profound sense of loss.

Keith literally was, the life of the party. He never had a bad word to say about anyone, and would do anything for a friend. Many a summer night was spent at his house on Red Top drive in West Hartford - his mom was a saint for putting up wiht us! "Cuff links", his love of music and cars and all things important in those days is such a big part of my memory. Keith, thanks for those priceless days. We were very lucky, very happy kids indeed as I look back on it. Mary and I will be donating to our favorite charity, St. Jude, in your honor. You will be missed.

It is with great regret that I have to honor your memory today. Keith & Julie lived next door and have been part of the greatest childhood memories that I share with my son & family. I will always remember you as the boy next door that stole my heart as a child. You had always been so kind to me. I loved the days we would just hang out and play basketball or just talk on the front stoop. How about those wonderful childhood kickball games or hide & seek at dusk. We had a great little community and I will always cherish the memories of our childhood together on Red Top Drive. You truly will be missed by everyone who has had the opportunity to have known you. I will miss you. May God Bless You. Eileen
