Larry B. Dorfman, 54, of Rocky Hill, died Saturday, (December 17, 2005) with family and friends by his side. Larry attended Hartford Public Schools and graduated from UCONN in 1973. He was a court stenographer for Sanders, Gale and Russell in New Haven. Predeceased by his father, Morris, Larry leaves his wife Vivian (Fernandez) of Rocky Hill, his mother Ceil of Palm Beach, FL, his brother Howard, sister-in-law Terry, niece Sheyna, and nephew Darren all of Virginia Beach, VA. In addition, Larry leaves his father and mother-in-law, Rolando and Carmen Fernandez, of Lima, Peru who loved him very much. Larry was a loving and caring individual. He was a generous spirit loved by all who knew him. Larry was open to the world around him and always showed a zest for the interests of others. Larry’s family and friends will miss his kindness, his affability, his great heart and generosity. The funeral procession will leave from the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford at 10:30 a.m. TODAY. There will be a graveside service at Teferes Israel Cemetery, Meriline Ave., West Hartford, at 11 a.m. with Rabbi, Marshall Press officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends at Vivian and Larry’s home at 88 Copper Beech Dr., in Rocky Hill for a service at 6 p.m. TODAY.
