Dear Al, Jim, Gail and Family,

We are so sorry to hear about Lois's passing. We have had many wonderful adventures these last twenty five years (that I have been around). Lois always had a smile, always loved a party, always worked hard at whatever task she tackled. We will miss her tons.

Our golf committee will never be the same without her.

Thanks for sharing Lois with us,

Love,

Laura, Mark and Matthew

I am so happy that I got to know Lois a few years ago as an adult. We had a family reunion of sorts since my dad is her cousin. I also got to know her husband Al and daughter Gail and her children, which I have really appreciated. She was a special lady. Even though I didn't have a chance to spend that much time with her, I will always remember her uplifting spirit. Diana Cooney Lincke

To the Reiner Family:

I am so sorry to hear about Lois. As you know, I visited at the Hebrew Home by happenstance about a couple of weeks ago. I did not know that her health was so dire. Yet, it was nice to see your family and recounted some memories when I was a kid and Lois was one of my den mothers. For Jimmy, you have suffered some very difficult losses. My best to all of you. I am happy that I got to see you all while Lois was among us and engaging.

My sincerest sympathies ...

I want to extend my condolences to the Reiner family. Lois was a true friend to my mother, Carol Selwyn, particularly when Carol most needed it. Her devotion to and pride of her family was evident in everything she did. This is a tremendous loss to the community as well as to your family. My thoughts are with you at this time.

I am so very, very saddened to hear of Lois' passing. She was a wonderful woman -- warm, generous, talented, artistic and so much fun.

Lois was a wonderful friend to my mother, Carol Selwyn. She was patient with Carol even after Alzheimer's had set in and it was obvious that my mother was struggling. Lois and Alvin included my mother in all of their family celebrations -- Pesach, Chanukah, etc., and were warm and generous and kind.

I will always remember Lois as "Mrs. Reiner" from her days at The Hartford School of Ballet. She was indefatigable and gave of her time and her talent so that the dream of a professional ballet company in Hartford could be seen through to fruition.

To Alvin, Gail and Jimmy, and to the extended family, as well, I send my most sincere condolences. Lois was a treasure and she will be missed by so many.
