COHEN, Lorraine (Freeman) Cohen, 75, of Bristol, CT passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007. Born October 20, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, Lorraine spent her life as a resident in New York, Connecticut, and Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Cohen and by her parents, Irving and Rose (Weiss) Freeman. She is survived by her loving son Alan Cohen of Ocala, FL; by her loving daughters, Maureen Gehring and her husband William of North Branford, CT, Debra McKean and her husband David of Jupiter, FL, Sandra Brandt and her husband John of Bristol, CT, Cynthia Hopper and her husband Richard of Ocala, FL, and Rochelle Long and her husband Christopher of Clinton, CT; by 14 loving and devoted grandchildren; and by 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Norman Freeman of Sarasota, FL, and Robert Freeman and sister-in-law Rhoda of Portland, ME; by brother-in-law Gerald Cohen and sister-in-law Charlotte of North Haven, CT; by sister-in-law Reeva Lynes and brother-in-law Gary; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Morris and Mary Lou Cohen. Lorraine will be remembered as a Hadassah member, Girl Scout Leader, dog lover, and casino lover. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Gardens of Bnai Darom Synagogue Cemetery, Ocala, FL.
