Mark I will remember you for your giant garage in the back, your stubborness, your tireless work ethic and your ready smile. Please watch over sunni. She will miss you so much. I know you are collecting tools & metal wherever you are now! With love...lauren

I am going to miss my "afternoon coffee buddy". Mark had the kindest eyes, and an equally kind soul. We were on different planes religiously, but on the same one spiritually. Rest easy my friend! Try not to accumulate too much junk up there!!!
Miss ya,
L.A.

To the family:

I must admit I was saddened to hear of your loss. Mr. Lake was a REALLY cool guy! I had the honor of enjoying his company during his daughter's graduation from Law School last month and enjoyed his presence, conversation, candor and humor. He was most hospitable to me while visiting his home and never failed to comment on the importance of family.

I am indeed blessed by having met such a man. I will keep each of you in my prayers.

In the bond of Love,
Sophea

Sunni and family,
I am so very saddened to lose my friend and colleague. We worked together at Ulbrich Steel for 16 yrs. Most recently Mark reported to me as he transitioned to the stockroom attendant when he could no longer safely work on our machines. I did my best to take care of and look after him daily! He was a man of strong will and deep faith. He taught me what it is like to walk thru fire with grace and humility. I know he rests in God's hands
peacefully looking down and sending love from above to his family and friends. God Bless during this difficult time. Warm Regards, Lisa

It has been a very long time since I have seen your family, but when I was closer to you, I always remember Mark being such a hard working man. And he loved his family so dearly, he would do anything for them. God bless all of you at this time and may Mark be happy and at peace now.

Some of my fondest memories with the Lake family include playing Trivial Pursuit around the kitchen table. Mr. Lake was always so kind and supportive. My love and deepest sympathy to the family.
