I remember working in that laundromat after school.....oh it was hot, but Martha was tough but at the same time always kind and caring and very patient with me.
You always knew where you stood with her.

I am one of Martha's former students. I had her as a social studies teacher in middle school which was known as Nathan Hale Jr. High at the time. She also taught at Temple B'nai Israel where I went to Hebrew School and she was very big on drama and plays. Your mom was very found of me and she would have been pleased to see that I became a Jewish columnist here in Florida and helped to start a synagogue here in Ocala. My sincere condolences to you and may her memory be for a blessing. Judi Siegal
