HOLDEN, Martin P. Holden, 85, of West Maxwell Dr., West Hartford died Saturday, July 15, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center. Born in Velbert, Germany, he was the son of the late Paul and Therese (Neuhoff) Heineberg. Martin served in the US Army during World War II in China, Burma and India, and received a commendation for his service in Burma. Martin had a successful career in the carbon ribbon industry. He was a vice president of Roytype in Hartford before he retired. He was a member of Beth El Temple in West Hartford and the Jewish War Veterans. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Renee (Fischer) Holden; two sons, Stewart M. Holden of Santa Barbara, CA, and Paul R. Holden with his wife Kathryn of Colchester; a sister, Ellen Wolff of Somers, NY; and three grandchildren, Toby, Dashiell, and Rachel Holden. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Ilana Garber officiating. Interment will follow in Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon. A memorial period will be observed at his home Tuesday following the funeral.
