Obituary

Michael Rosenberg, 78, formerly of Newington and Glastonbury, died Sunday, August 28, 2022. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Dr. Conrad Rosenberg and Dr. Myra (Palmer) Rosenberg. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. He especially loved train travel, musical theater, spending time on the computer, and sharing horrible puns. Michael was predeceased by his wife, Victoria (Thomas) Rosenberg. He leaves behind his children, Sarah Rosenberg and her husband Stephen Gordon, Amy Rosenberg, and David Rosenberg; one grandchild, Robin Gordon; his sister Susan Weiss, brother and sister-in-law Dr. Alan and Debra Rosenberg, and sister-in-law Kathy Thomas; and a large extended family. Michael made a positive impact on the countless students he taught for many years as a religious school teacher. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 4 (1:00-4:00 pm) at 224 Killdeer Road, Webster, MA. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to World Central Kitchen.

Sarah, Amy, and David,
I was so sorry to hear of your dad's passing! He was a fixture in the Kol Haverim religious school for so many years, and his lively spirit and sense of humor always brought great joy. May your memories bring you comfort and peace.

Dear Sarah, Amy, David,
We are saddened to hear of your dad's death. He and your mom were dear friends and we spent many a Friday evening sharing special meals and playing bridge. We are grateful that we got to spend time reconnecting with Michael at Homewood Suites when our homes were being repaired following water damage - a very unexpected pleasure during a stressful time. We treasure the memories we have of your family. You are in our thoughts at this difficult time.
