What wonderful memories I have of our great times over so many years...weekend excursions to unknown places and especially our very special wine dinners with the Long Cork Society. Michael was always a special friend of Herb's (and then mine) for many many years and although we parted ways when you moved to Florida both of you were always in our thoughts. My deepest sympathy to you and the rest of the family.
With Love, Sue

I am very saddened by his death. It also leaves me as (almost) the last remaining Sudarsky (thru my mother Pearl Sudarsky Sisitzky Sisk) of this generation. Most of my dealing with Michael were related to family history as he considered himself the historian of his branch and had heard that I was the unofficial historian of my branch. For many years he lent me his precious and rare copy of the Ynova Memor-Buch, a heav y gray volume which I hope his heirs will value. Until I was able to secure my own copy I used his in the laborious task of translating it from the Yiddish (using 2 dictionaries) and finding various Sudarskys scattered thruout its hundreds of pages. Since the Sisitzkys were distantly related to the Sudarskys in Europe it was an interesting task. Michael's grandfather Joseph and mine (Yehuda Leib) were brothers but separated by 14 years. My grandparents arrived here in 1905 but I understand Joseph, the older, was here many years before. The rest of the history has been written in pieces by Michael and by me. I send condolences to his family.
