I hope the fond memories you treasure will keep your strong in these days of trial and into the future as well. With warm regards, Bert Rosenfield.
Milt was a partner in his family manufacturing and wholesale neckwear business, Carl Neckwear, Co., Manhattan, NY. His father Joseph had started the business in the1930’s. He enjoyed working with his dad and brothers, Carl and Arthur. Milt and Milly moved to Flushing, NY in 1953 where they raised their family. After his children graduated high school, Milly and Milt moved to New Jersey. The business had expanded and he was charged with operating another manufacturing plant. After his early retirement at the age of 53, Milt and Milly moved to Avon, to be close to their grandchildren; then on to Florida as snowbirds and eventually full time residents for well over a decade.
At the age of 13 Milt started collecting coins, a lifelong hobby. Milt enjoyed collecting rare and scarce coins especially mint errors. He was a life member of the American Numismatic Association and the American Israel Numismatic Association, a member of The Long Island Coin Club and The Numismatic Error Collectors Association. Milt often was the winner for his exhibits at the Grand Central Coin Convention each year. Milt served as a consultant to the mint error section of Scott’s Encyclopedia of United States Coins. He loved spending time with his family who loved and respected him.
Besides his wife of 65 years, Milt is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Richard Leibert of West Hartford, their children, Deborah Kritzman and her husband A.J. of West Hartford, Sarah Leibert of Bloomfield, and Cheryl Leibert of Los Angeles, CA; three great-grandchildren, Sally, Sophie and Sadie Kritzman; and many nieces and nephews. Milt was predeceased by his brothers Carl Cohen and Arthur Cohen and sisters Rita Fight and Eleanor Truehaft. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and staff at Hebrew Health Care for their compassion, caring and support.

I'll aways remember my uncle Milty's kindness and generosity to me as a boy growing up. He gave me my first stamps for my collection. His warm smile and calm reassuring way will always be in my memories and in my heart.

Dear Milly, Joyce and Family,
What a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Milt was to all of you.
We think of you as ONE family with us; and today, that
family has been greatly diminished with the loss of Milt.
We'll always remember the warmth of his smile, and the
glimmer in his eye whenever he was with his granddaughters
and great-granddaughters. They were all truly the "SUN-
SHINE" of his life.
Milly, you and Milt were the quintessential "Great Love Affair."
Love to you always,
Jan and Harold
