Morris Crosky, 87, of West Hartford and Boynton Beach FLA, Husband of Jacqueline (Nepon) Crosky, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006. Born in Lynn, MA, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Sarah (Leveston) Crosky. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II. He then received his law degree from the University of Connecticut. He was a founding partner in the Hartford law office of Crosky, Werner and Tallow before joining Ames Dept. Stores in 1965 as General Counsel-retiring in 1983 as Chief Counsel, President and COO. He was a longtime member of Congregation Beth Israel, West Hartford and a charter member of Beth El Temple , West Hartford and the former Cliffside Country Club, Avon. He served on the Board of Governors of Hunters Run Golf & Racquet Club. In addition to Jacqueline, his cherished wife of sixty years, he is survived by his children: Neal Crosky of West Hartford, Robert Crosky and wife Cathy of Williamstown, MA; and daughter Laura Crosky of West Hartford; and his adored grandchildren Benjamin and Sarah Crosky. He is also survived by his beloved cousin Ann Cohen and family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2006 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth Israel Cemetery, Avon. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Sunday evening at his home at 40 Seminole Circle, West Hartford, CT 06117.
