She also volunteered as a non-partisan official during elections in West Hartford. Muriel leaves her brother Philip and sister-in-law Nathalie, of West Hartford, and brother Al and sister-in-law Berte, formerly of West Hartford and now of Garnet Valley, PA; her niece Pamela and nephew Mitchell (Nadine), both of West Hartford, and nephews Carl (Kate) and Roy (Rachel), both formerly of West Hartford and now of Radnor, PA; and five great-nephews and three great-nieces. She was and continues to be beloved as sister and aunt, fondly called Moom and Momo by the family to whom she was devoted. She was also a treasured friend. Muriel died peacefully on the morning of September 11, holding Pamela’s hand. The Rosin family offers grateful appreciation to the caring staff at Hughes Health & Rehabilitation Center, where she spent her last year.
