Myrna (Eierman) Shelton, of Silo Way, Bloomfield, died Monday, July 31, 2006. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Tobias and Rebecca (Lebofsky) Eierman. She was an active member of Beth El Temple, West Hartford, having served as Past President of its’ Sisterhood; Vice President of the Chai Society; Past Chairman of the Beth El Temple Art Show; and past Secretary to the Board. She leaves a son: Adam Shelton of West Hartford; two daughters: Jennifer Powers and her husband James of Avon, and Ellen Grossbard and her husband Lawrence of Wayne, NJ; four grandchildren: Matthew Tobias and Arin Rose Grossbard, and Rebecca Leigh and Max Foster Powers; a brother: Stephen Eierman of New York, NY; and a sister: Cheri Baum of Marlboro, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at 11:30 AM in the Sanctuary of Beth El Temple, 2626 Albany Ave., West Hartford with Rabbi Stanley M. Kessler officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon. A memorial period will be observed at her home, 59 Silo Way, Bloomfield, Wednesday following the funeral through Friday afternoon; and also at the home of her daughter Ellen, 22 Oak Lane, Wayne, NJ on Saturday evening and Sunday.
