Patricia (Fletcher) Weil, 70 years of age, of Simsbury, died unexpectedly with her family by her side on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Ossining, NY, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Frances (Kostin) Fletcher. Pat was a wonderful homemaker, amazing mother and grandmother, and a loving wife. Pat was deeply devoted to her family and was a stay at home mother until her daughters went to college; then became an Administrative Assistant for Rehab Services at John Dempsey Hospital. She retired in 2002 to be with her family full time, once again, and take excellent care of her beloved grandchildren. She leaves her husband, best friend and confidant Leonard B. Weil; her loving daughters, Melissa P. Zeyger and her husband Gene of Westboro, MA, and Rachel Zunino and her husband Mark of Simsbury; her adoring grandchildren, Jessica and Katelyn Zeyger, and Michela and Alexander Zunino; and her sisters, Barbara F. Brown and her husband John of LaJolla, CA, and Rosalie Weinbaum and her husband Merrill of New Britain as well as several nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 7th, 2015 at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, 15 Wolcott Rd., East Granby with Rabbi Howard Herman officiating. Following the burial service, Patricia’s family will welcome relatives and friends to share in memories and remembrance. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patricia’s name to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
