Pearl Davidson, 91, of West Hartford was born in Hartford to the late Jennie and Louis Levinson of Bloomfield. Pearl had a gusto for life, always wearing a smile and carrying a bit of humor with her wherever she went. An independent spirit, she traveled to Detroit to pick up her first new car right off the factory line when she was in her 20’s. Pearl worked for many years at St. Francis hospital, and was the widow of Norman Davidson. Pearl was a devoted mother to Susan Davidson and husband David Thompson of Seattle, and Greg Davidson and wife Ruth of Tolland, CT, and the late Laurie Davidson of Glastonbury. She was the cherished grandmother to Derek and Ruby Thompson of Seattle and to Amy Shaw and husband Matt of Ellington, and great grandchildren Lauren, Connor, Lia, Carson, Sofia, Isaac, and Finley.
