Peter T. Frankel, 65, of South Pond Road, Bloomfield, died Saturday, November 1, 2008. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Maurice H. and Sylvia (Mador) Frankel. Peter attended Clark University and the University of Hartford. He owned and operated Tri-guard Windows and Siding in East Hartford for eight years. He also worked for Dean Witter in investment service and continued his career in real estate investments. An avid golfer, he lived life and was a passionate Yankee fan and UCONN Basketball fan. He was a member of the Emanuel Synagogue, West Hartford. A loving and devoted husband and father, he leaves his wife Marilyn (Rudnick); his son Marc Frankel and his fiancee Taylor Meltzer of New York, NY; a sister Deborah Rome of Bloomfield; five nephews; Michael, Matthew, Jonathan, Joshua and Jacob; and four nieces; Amy, Robin, Jillian and Rebecca. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 3 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave, Hartford with Rabbi David J. Small officiating. Interment will follow in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, Garden St., Hartford. A memorial period will be observed at his home through Wednesday, November 5.
